(STEPS 1-5B IS RESTORING YOUR IPOD TOUCH/IPHONE)

1. connect ipod touch to cpu

2. open itunes

3. hold shift and click restore and find the firmware 3.1.2 previously downloaded
   this is to wipe off everything off the ipod touch so there is no conflicts with 
   blackra1n when u run it. it also creates a backup of ur ipod touch. this backup 
   only includes ur contacts list and notes. ur videos, music, pictures and apps are
   all deleted. so make the proper preparation b4 jailbreaking.

4. in itunes when the screen "set up your ipod" comes up ur iphone or ipod touch has successfully
   been restored. At this point when u check ur ipod touch ur photos, music, videos, notes everything will
   be deleted. 

5. In itunes u will then see restore backup for name of ipod, select one at the drop down menu
   and click continue.
 after this is done itunes will then sync ur ipod touch and show u the summary screen
   in itunes for ur ipod touch or iphone. when this is done, ur pictures, notes and contacts are the ONLY things that will
   be backed up and it will be a default unjailbroken ipod touch. 

   p.s if u cannot find ur photos app its on the next page on the device, scroll left and u'll see it.
   oh. DO NOT UPDATE THE FIRMWARE OK IF U WANNA JAILBREAK WITH THE 3.1.2 FIRMWARE

5b.(this step is only for those who are re-jailbreaking) THE PICS THAT U TOOK WITH THE DEVICE WHEN IT WAS 
   JAILBROKEN WILL NOT RETURN AFTER THE SYNC SO BEST TO OPEN UP IFUNBOX OR IPHONEBROWSER OR ANY SSH PROGRAM
   BEFORE RESTORING TO COPY THESE OR ALL PHOTOS TO UR COMPUTER, AND AS FOR THE MUSIC AND VIDEOS BACK THEM UP B4 
   RESTORING AND JAILBREAKING AGAIN.

(STEPS 6-9 IS ACTUALLY JAILBREAKING UR DEVICE)

6. after restoring open up blackra1n and click "Make it ra1n". it will say jailbreaking is done.Thats it u have now
   sucessfully jailbroken ur device. that simple by the push of a button.

7. when everything is done u'll see the blackra1n app on ur device. Now before clicking blackrain on the device inorder to 
   install cydia and others (like Rock and Icy - Optional not necessarily needed) u need to connect to the internet. 
   P.s. if u dont have a wireless router at home but a modem and internet via cable cord read my txt file on how to connect ur
   ipod touch/iphone to internet by using ur laptop as a wireless router. this should be able to work if ur desktop has 
   a external wireless adapter or the ability to connect to other devices.

8. when u connect the ipod touch/iphone to the net now, go to blackra1n on the device and click on cydia to install it.
   u can install rock too as well as icy if u see it. I recommend installing them separately. Cydia is the main one to use, 
   the others are updates of cydia and u might not need them but i'd say install Rock too.
 
   ps. when ur installing them a message on the ipod touch may come up and say "warning ur device 
is running out on space please 
   delete some videos" ignore that!


9.when done u should see on the other page of ur device: blackra1n, cydia and anyother app u downloaded from blackra1n.
